Syrian Army discovers US and European weapons in Deir Ezzor countryside
Units of the Syrian Arab Army seized large amounts of weapons and munitions, some of which US-made, while combing the areas of al-Ashara, Sbeikhan and al-Salyhia in the southeastern countryside of Deir Ezzor which were liberated recently from Daesh (ISIS) terrorists.
A field leader said that the weapons that were found are remnants of Daesh as they included hundreds of various missiles and ammunition and other weapons made by several European and Western countries.
Ammunitions, an artillery, large amounts of anti-armors, heavy cannons and booby-trapped vehicles were among the discovered weapons, according to the leader.
