Students of non-certificate school grades to pass automatically to next grade

The Cabinet decided that all students of non-certificate grades will pass automatically to the next grade, tasking the Education Ministry to prepare a plan to help students make up for the lessons they missed next years.

During a weekly session chaired by Prime Minister Imad Khamis, the Cabinet tasked the Education and Health Ministries with coordinating to set a suitable date for basic education and high school certificates exams, and taking all the necessary steps to ensure the safety of students.

The Cabinet also extended the suspension of attendance at universities and institutes till after the Eid al-Fitr holiday.
